  • EU Transfer of Funds rules for crypto-asset transfers apply from 30 Dec 2024 (Reg. (EU) 2023/1113).
  • EBA Travel Rule Guidelines included a limited technical transition for CASPs until 31 Jul 2025 for certain infrastructure / data-completeness constraints; that window is closed. CASPs remain responsible for detecting missing or incomplete information and for procedures when required information is missing.
  • Globally, more jurisdictions have Travel Rule legislation on the books, while practical counterparty readiness is still uneven — so unreachable counterparties and exception handling stay part of the job.

CASP Ops is designed for that reality: work the queue, don’t pretend the network is perfect.
